Salted Chocolate Banana Bread

This Chocolate Chip Walnut Banana Bread is delicious and decadent. A single loaf of this excellent bread contains three bananas. That is what gives it its above-average moisture content.

As you might know, I have been wearing CGM (continuous glucose monitor) for the past month. So I have been looking for recipes unlikely to spike blood sugar and contain ingredients that can help you become the best version of yourself. Last but not least, I am all about finding good recipes that don't make you feel as if you are restricting yourself from eating delicious food. This banana bread is a perfect example of one.

This recipe will use Paleo flour mix, a heart-healthy, low-carb alternative to all-purpose white flour.

This Chocolate Chip Walnut Banana Bread has it all. A moist, comforting banana bread base is bedazzled with chopped walnuts and chocolate chips. What emerges from the oven is nothing short of amazing.

HOW DO YOU MAKE BANANA BREAD WITH WALNUTS AND CHOCOLATE CHIPS?

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. 

2. Whisk the egg in a large mixing bowl. 

3. Mash the bananas with the egg before adding the rest of the ingredients. 

4. Combine everything in a mixing bowl. 

5. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper, coat with oil, pour in the mixture and bake for 50-55 minutes. 

Then it's ready to be served! Allow it to cool somewhat before slicing it.

  • Butter is high in vitamins, particularly fat-soluble vitamins.

  • Butter contains high levels of the following vitamins:

  • Vitamin A is the most plentiful vitamin in butter. One tablespoon (14 grams) offers around 11% of the RDA (Recommended Daily Intake).

  • Vitamin D. Butter is high in vitamin D.

  • Vitamin E is a potent antioxidant that is commonly found in fatty meals.

  • Vitamin B12 is exclusively found in foods of animal or bacterial origins, such as eggs, meat, dairy products, and fermented foods.

  • K2 vitamin is a kind of vitamin K that may help prevent heart disease and osteoporosis.

HEALTH BENEFITS

Butter. Butter is high in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and good fats, and research has shown that it can help prevent heart disease, enhance eyesight, balance hormones, build bones, and increase nutrition absorption.

Coconut Nectar. Coconut Nectar has ten times more zinc, two times more iron, and four times more magnesium. The nectar is rich in vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, C, and medium-chain fatty acids. It is endowed with amino acids—the body's building blocks. It has a low glycemic level. Coconut nectar contains inulin, which can stimulate the growth of intestinal bifidobacteria (typically found in probiotics) and is known to provide an excellent immune system boost. Bifidobacteria also help replenish healthy gut bacteria that may have been killed by drugs or chemotherapy.

Bananas. I've heard many times from my clients that they avoid bananas because they contain a relatively high amount of sugar and carbohydrates. However, bananas are indeed a great source of several essential nutrients. They are high in potassium, magnesium, manganese, fiber, vitamin B6, and vitamin C, which explains why eating a banana has many health benefits. It may help with blood sugar levels and kidney cancer, among other things.

Sidenote: Because bananas contain a relatively high amount of carbohydrates and have very little fat and protein, they can quickly spike blood sugar levels. Thus, it is essential to make sure you combine them with fat and protein, just like in this recipe.
